Lauren Carola is a rising senior at Hofstra University and is currency interning at Channel V Media. She majors in public relations/strategic communication with a minor in rhetoric and public advocacy. On campus, Lauren involves herself in a handful of student run-organizations that expand her leadership and media skills. She serves on the executive board as director of membership for Hofstra’s PRSSA chapter to increase membership and awareness for the organization. She also is a staff member of WRHU, Hofstra’s professional broadcasting station. Through WRHU, she combines her passion and knowledge of music and content creation. She engineers and hosts weekly shows that air across the five boroughs and Long Island. Lauren is also an active Music Entertainment Industry Student Association (MEISA) member, a pre-professional industry organization.
