The Challenge
Clinical Trial Media (CTM) helps pharmaceutical sponsors enroll clinical trial participants faster and more equitably, using a proprietary blend of AI-powered screening and human outreach across thousands of studies. Despite strong performance metrics and a fast-growing team, CTM had minimal media presence and stayed invisible to the healthcare, technology and business press that shape its market. Its work sat at the intersection of three big stories: the rise of AI, the push for diversity in clinical research and the race to speed up drug development. CTM needed a platform that would position its CEO as an authority, prove its technical edge and champion diversity in trials.
Where CVM Came In
We built a multi-pillar narrative strategy that gave CTM’s spokespeople distinct, media-ready platforms across AI innovation, the human-tech partnership and diversity in trial design. We activated it through proactive media relations, press releases timed to CTM’s operational wins and bylines in trade and business media. Along the way, we turned CTM’s internal results data into public proof points.
Here’s How We Did It

We built the campaign around three messaging pillars.
The pillars were AI and human-tech recruiting, diversity and equity in clinical research, and platform and milestone news. Each pillar had its own outlets, angles and pitch targets. Every story had a natural home, so we ran multiple tracks at once without competing with ourselves.

We activated those pillars through a sustained thought leadership program.
Rather than pitching CTM reactively, we built a proactive cadence across all three tracks. We placed commentary and bylines in the publications that shape how pharma sponsors, regulators and investors think about clinical recruitment. We put the CEO at the center of two questions shaping clinical research: how AI and human outreach work together to find the right participants, and how trials can reach more diverse populations.

We paired that program with a drumbeat of corporate news.
We turned company milestones into announcements: 1,000+ Alzheimer’s participants enrolled, a 50% lift in patient randomizations, a 15%+ improvement in qualified candidates and 62% diverse representation in Alzheimer’s study randomizations. Each announcement gave media a fresh, data-backed hook. Together they compounded CTM’s credibility over time.
