The Challenge

PaceMate builds a remote cardiac monitoring and management platform used by health systems, clinics and cardiac device teams across the U.S. The company had a strong reputation among electrophysiology and cardiac device specialists but little recognition beyond that circle. It was entering a new stage of growth with a change in leadership, and it needed to show the broader healthcare, medtech and business markets that the transition marked the start of an ambitious expansion and define itself on its own terms.

Where CVM Came In

We built a narrative around PaceMate reimagining how remote cardiac monitoring works in healthcare. Then we used three levers to carry it to a wider audience: client success stories, company milestones framed as vision moments and thought leadership that positioned PaceMate executives as experts on the future of healthcare.

Here’s How We Did It

We turned a leadership transition into a statement of ambition.

Rather than treat the leadership change as a routine personnel note, we framed it around where PaceMate was headed next: large-scale commercial expansion and national reach. That angle resonated well beyond cardiology trades. The transition drove 17 placements across business press, healthcare trades and regional outlets, including Tampa Bay Business Journal, Healthcare Brew, MedCity News, MassDevice and Business Observer.

We made every milestone and appointment advance the company vision.

Each company milestone and executive appointment became a chapter in a single story: PaceMate is reimagining remote cardiac monitoring and preparing its platform for the AI era. We tailored angles for medtech, cardiology and AI audiences so each piece of news reinforced the same narrative. These moments earned 10 additional placements in outlets including DAIC, EP Lab Digest and Medical Product Outsourcing.

We established PaceMate executives as voices on the future of healthcare.

We moved PaceMate leaders from news subjects to expert commentators. We secured executive interviews and contributed articles on how AI is reshaping healthcare workflows. Each piece positioned PaceMate as an authority for health systems, not only clinics.

We let PaceMate’s clients tell the story.

Healthcare editors want to hear from health systems, not only vendors. We worked with PaceMate’s clients to turn their results into media stories, securing a major health system customer as a guest on Healthcare IT News’ HIMSSCast to discuss replacing legacy systems and modernizing cardiac device workflows. That third-party proof showed the market that a leading health system trusts PaceMate with its cardiac device workflows.
