The Challenge
GFT is a global digital transformation company specializing in cloud, data and AI, with 12,000+ experts in 20+ countries, but in the U.S. its media presence was built almost entirely on banking and fintech. Its manufacturing work was a different story: GFT was automating factory floors for some of the largest U.S. automakers, and confidentiality agreements meant it could rarely name them. It needed another way to prove credibility to manufacturers, a cautious audience that buys on proof, and to show it could deliver real results on the factory floor.
Where CVM Came In
We built GFT’s presence in manufacturing press from the ground up with a three-part strategy. To validate GFT in the manufacturing space without client names, we leaned on its partnerships with tech giants like Google Cloud, demonstrated its own innovations on the factory floor and put its experts at the center of industry conversations.
Here’s How We Did It

We turned confidential automaker work into a story manufacturers could picture.
GFT’s biggest manufacturing wins came with strict confidentiality, so we built the story around the work rather than the logo. We framed the work, from cloud transformation to AI implementation, as a blueprint for the Industry 4.0 shift every manufacturer was chasing. That let prospects see their own plants in the story without GFT having to name the client.

We validated GFT through its technology partnerships.
Manufacturers buy from partners they trust. We anchored GFT’s manufacturing work by highlighting its strong relationships with key players like Google Cloud, NVIDIA and NEURA Robotics. The work with Google Cloud resulted in 17 headlines naming the two companies together. IOT World Today and AI Business ran “Google Cloud, GFT Launch AI Tools for Manufacturing,” and Mobile World Live published a feature on how the partners turn AI into a production powerhouse.
GFT Technologies

We gave manufacturers a firsthand look at GFT’s work on the line.
We built GFT’s story around moments the industry could see for itself, inviting reporters to MxD’s innovation center, as well as offering live demos of GFT’s robotic arms. We framed both moments around the question manufacturers kept asking: how do you get AI off the screen and onto the factory floor? This approach drove 20+ placements.

We positioned GFT as an authority in manufacturing industry conversations.
We made sure GFT had a voice in the bigger questions manufacturers were working through in between product announcements. We built a bench of five executives, each tied to a topic manufacturers cared about, from breaking down data silos to scaling AI agents across operations. Their bylines in Forbes and Industry Today, and commentary and Q&As in Manufacturing Digital and Manufacturing Quality, kept GFT in front of manufacturing decision-makers well beyond each launch.
